The show was called "Dimming Sun." "Global Dimming" was the name the discoverer gave it. Sorry about that.

Did you enjoy the NOVA you watched and what do you believe or disbelieve about it.

I was already familiar with sun dimming. I accept that crap in the atmosphere is keeping out the sun as they assert. I have no reason to question that.

However, a dimming sun isn't going to sink Florida. The show didn't assert that nor is it a logical conclusion to draw. A dimming sun is a cooling factor.

The problem I had with it was that they shifted gears from dimming to warming toward the end of the show without a solid segue leaving the viewer to assume the connection.

I may have been off a few centuries..

That's why I made an issue of it. The difference of a few centuries is the difference between plausible speculation by legitimate scientists and scaremongering.

Then I can check my time frames again.

Since you're watching it again, you'll see that there's nothing in there about DDT, acid rain, or recycling, either...
