Actually, the price of gas is over $3.00 here in OR...you're right, crimes will be committed...what will people do when they have nothing left to pawn...The other dilemma is this country doesn't have a very good public transportation system, thanks to the oil companies - nice huh. This affects every mode of travel, planes, buses, cars - trains? I don't know. It affects product production since so many items are plastic. AND the dollar is losing its value...the real estate bubble isn't bursting, there's a slow leak though. Our econcomy is imploding and China's outside the door waiting to collect.
