We need a leader. Someone who will disregard the popular thing in favor of the right thing. Problem is....such a leader wouldn't last long. In retrospect it seems like we had a moment right after 911 when the country was willing to make sacrifices and would have done what was necessary to assure our success on whatever level our leader took us. That moment has passed. Now we have to look out for ourselves and our families. Thank you for posting the list of ETF's. The investing opportunities are rather staggering right now, so much so that it's difficult to focus. Which reminds of me of a favorite bumper sticker which illustrates the current problem (as I see it) in our country: I was going to save the world...and then I saw something shiny.

Rande, you got that right! We don't seem to have the guts to step up to the plate and do something right! We're too afraid of the feathers we MAY ruffle, or the money / labor it will take, etc. etc. It's obvious that we're so wishy washy that no one really has a plan... let alone, know what to do now... Really sick... For Example: Illegal Immigration... We have so many illegal residents and loose borders, "we just can't send them all back home". So, what do they want to do? Give them amnesty to just make the job easier! They even try to change the definition of "Illegal" to something else other than "law(s) have been broken". They don't realize that it's a path for terrorists as well... They just cannot think it through and develop a good solution! When we break laws, we get punished... why can't they?! They reward them for breaking our laws... Now that they think we're going to give away some more "amnesty", they're ling up ready to invade some more! Pregnant mothers come over the borders just to have their children born here, therefore, citizens... Now, we can't send them BOTH back home can we? That would be such a bad thing to do! When our pregnant mothers go to prison, that doesn't shorten their stay... it still goes on their record and will punished for their crime(s)! I think the law should be changed to: "Any child born in the USA will be a citizen of that of the Mother." I also think that there is obviously a war type action being done and we should fight it and STOP the illegal immigration. If we have to use the National Guard or whatever to get the job done, so be it... we should bite the bullet and get the job done... Maybe devise a way for them to stay here legally, which means they have to follow all of the steps involved in becoming a citizen... no shortcuts... If they can't do that, send them back to where they came from (babies and all)! OK, off my soap box...
