Republican is now a dirty word...even for many Republicans. Dubyette has harmed his own party even while his cronies are busy making billions.

That was the deal for the rank and file Republicans: you get $4/gallon gasoline and no healthcare while we get rich.

Apparently that's what rank and file Republicans live for. It's sad but true: the Republican martyr complex.
