Stocks...OFF TOPIC

Hi Bob, Your business professor had the right idea.

This happened to me ..... It was 1994 (?) I was living in Paraguay (me second Peace corp term) and bright and early while listening to BBC, the BBC announcer was commenting about the sorry state of the American Stock Market. He said that things were so bad that even GM fell to below $20.00 a share. I said to myself that's absurd.

So the next morning I did an eight hour hike and a ten hour bus ride and got to Asuncion, Paraguay hung around the telephone company and finally got through to Fidelity and set up a buy for 1000 shares of GM on the next days open. This is one of the best trades I ever made. Some months later I unloaded at a healthy profit.

At that time I just knew that GM was not a $20.00 stock.

Right now I "know " that NVLS is not a $25.00 stock and that at $18.00 AMAT is out of kilter with reality.

I reserve the right to remain in poverty if I'm wrong.
