Thorlos are the best from my experience..

About New Balance.. There are few shoe makers that make a D or EE width. Foot Solutions.... ( I do not own the franchise)
makes that Brook's in a D and EE width. They have a shoe suitable for the gym that is fantastic. I too need a bouncy shoe for the pounding I do.

In the Foot Solutions store they have two machines that measure your walk... the way in which your foot comes down to the floor . I found that my right foot pronated and they have inserts that they sell for about $ 21.00... Different ones for different problems.. My sister got another one as her arch is very high... My right foot is off a bit.

I bought one pair and put them in my shoes. I found my back hurt the first two days but after that now my back hurts when I don't wear them. They have made a tremendous difference and I even bought a second pair as I do not like having to transfer them from shoe to shoe...

For your foot solutions I think what I have recommended here you will have some success...( with) don't end a sentence in a preposition but I am rushing like crazy right now E and forgive the quickie.
