If Bush bombs Iran people will think he's lost his mind and/or is doing it strictly for political reasons. At first some might rally around him but after awhile most people would realize he's still the worst commander in chief in history. That would obviously be a major escalation of war in Iraq-Iran instead of the withdrawl most Americans are hoping for. Oil prices would sky-rocket again. US intel would be questioned, especially since Cheney destroyed Valerie Plame and her whole Iran intel network. Britain would be against it. Almost everyone would be against it. No, if anyone takes out that nuclear reactor it has to be Israel, like they did in Iraq a few decades ago. After all they are the ones most at risk, not the US.
