"Where's the control of the border?"

I think cracking down on the employers of illegals will be much more effective that attempting to shut a 2000 mile border. Once the idea gets planted that the Feds are actively LOOKING for them, the employers will be racing to replace their illegals with what other workers are available before the next guy does.

The Feds have to keep pressing, and enlist local law enforcement and informants in communities across the nation. This could work, if we really WANT it to.

What if they had a Federal 800 number where you could report suspected employers of illegals? Then, the Feds could just CALL them, inform them that they had been reported, and let them know the penalties. Bye, bye illegals..

See how many people actually get prosecuted...

So far...it's about 4.

Lip service at best.

Where's the control of the border?

Baby steps? Yes, I know its a sham.....they think we will be happy with that and then will go back to sleep. Have we got a surprise for them!

What was more potent was the new legislation in GA. Congress hates it when the states take the lead.

BTW did you know they were building a wall along the border between San Diego and TJ?
