I just read this news a few more times and tried to figure out if there is any thing else was between the lines.

There is another news reported in a slightly different format at:

It is clear that from the Chinese view point that they do not accept pressure from the US to revalue Yuan, especially for the "political" purposes for the election of this fall. It also appears to me that Chinese will slowly appreciate Yuan and then speed up the process after the US election, which is about 6 months away. This is what I read between the lines.

Therefore, I expect all Asian currencies adjust with Yuan during this fall or early winter, which will ignite another gold rally vs. USD when seasonal gold is the strongest. Good investing.
