TJ, QCOM did that a few years ago: <i meant sell qcom license for next to nothing> Which made the Koreans whine like a fleet of 747s.

Exports from China are charged at 7%. In-China it's only a derisory and neligibile 2.6% or so. Compare that with GSM's 16% for anywhere, and GSM is scungy old obsolete TDMA technology which can't do mobile cyberspace.

If China does steal 2.6% it's not the end of the world or even QCOM's.
