Kenneth, the democrats have not been opposing as they could, it illustrates their lack of solid leadership. If you believe otherwise, then it is you who is in denial. Cuts are the first step in managing the budget. The second step is to collect the projected $300 billion in uncollected taxes this year...only after these two responsibilities are covered should they ask us for more money. Right now you support the people that avoid taxes and support tax increases on those that so much in taxes. You are confused.
