Legitimate governments have a difficult time governing from the fringe. Arafat's multi decade brain washing agenda has moved the "center" of Palestinian politics to a very extreme place. The legitimate government of terrorists may support terrorism, but they will have to produce democratic and or economic reform or they will be swept out quickly. Of course they may move to deny the people of Palestine another vote with which to remove them. Left to its own, Palestine would tend to drift back towards the center. We will see if that occurs.
