There ain't no strategy anymore! Not since the DH. Now you have guys hitting .190 swinging for the fences. Place-hitting is a lost art.

Different eras of a game have their own characteristics. Goal posts used to be on the goal line before they were moved to the rear of the inzone in 1974. Which made field goals harder.

Golf is another example of how sports change. The high tech clubs and balls on today's finely manicured greens can't really be compared to the old days either.
