Thanks for the continuance of good words for me.

I love Reflections as they help me motivate myself for the day. And this getting old.....is really not always fun, in my opinion, but having motivation beats being like a bump on a log all one day.

I visited my sister this past weekend and we had some good long talks in which we marveled at what we used to be able to do with four children each, really active families and being able to keep up with everything that needed to be done in a day. That get up and do has gotten up and gone somehow with age for both of us. We are both small people and had the strength of horses back then. Now we don't have that kind of stamina and it makes us both think back to those days wondering how we ever were able to do so many things in a day without collapsing. We decided not to speak about it any more and just enjoy having our girls with us to take care of what needed to be done and tell funny stories of our childhood to them. We ate all of our meals out like being on vacation. That was relaxing and fun for all of us. Twas a bleaching of past done deeds. What she didn't think of I did....lol We kept saying that laughter is such good medicine and we hoped to be healed well after this visit. My face muscles were completely exercised to the fullest extent and I know my tear ducts had a good workout also. I really love those girl's three day weekends and come home tired in a good way but in the best of spirits for that visiting time together.
The only shopping we did was on the way home to stop at the plant stand and buy petunia and bougainvillaea hanging baskets for our gardens. Beautiful reminders of our time together.

I know how we've talked about how dead on some of these words are but these from yesterday were all dead on! Thanks!
