Well...the cable companies do have trucks for repair and installation. The really bad part is that those surcharges will become part of the price structure and will not be removed when (if) prices come down.
Bought 300 shares of NYX @70.30 just for a bounce. Last time it was good for 15 points, but that was in the 1st Q bull market. LOL.

RE: fuel surcharge. A friend of mine owns a Boars Head distributorship. He decided to raise his prices a few cents per pound across the board instead of trying to bill a surcharge. He thought the price increase would go over better and was worried some customers might simply refuse to pay a surcharge.

I keep thinking railroads should benefit from all of this. On top of ethanol boom and use of more coal if natgas goes back >10.
