Yep... it ain't Switzerland!

(Hell, even Switzerland --- long a model for ethnic and religious live-and-let-live attitudes --- went through centuries of discord before evolving into it's present state... and, I recently learned that even northern Italy has a politically potent 'separatist' movement. :)

To imagine that Iraq would automatically be flowing with milk and honey and good sentiments betrays a *dangerous* level of ignorance and guilibility.
