It may be true that there have been no deaths at Gitmo. I am pointing out that it is possible that a death could go unreported by classifying the information.

Yes it is speculative. That is what we are left with with such a secretive administration. Anyone who thinks they are giving the full story on anything related to national security is naive.

There are people in the administration who think torture is desirable for detainees. Cheney is one of them. Such people will lead this country to the bottom of the moral high ground pool and our troops will be the ones at risk. If they are captured our enemies have no reason whatsoever now to desist from torturing them. We have set the new low standard. This is criminal IMO.
