I don't think they'll be whispering the 200,000 ounces for much longer.... seems they've been dangling a couple more tidbits of information on the internet for us to find ?

Looks like the company has some more hiring to do.

infomine.com

Three items of particular note in one of the job postings,.....

infomine.com

"Plans are currently underway to reopen the adjacent Lamaque Mine commencing with a 50,000 tonne bulk sample later this year. Ore from this operation will be processed at the Sigma Mine.

On March 30, 2006 the company announced the acquisition of the San Juan Gold Mine in Peru. This event marks the first of the Company's intended acquisitions of operating and advanced exploration properties in Peru.

Century's corporate staff also provide management services to a second public company focussed in base metals. Century is currently evaluating several opportunities elsewhere in Canada and throughout North America. "

So we have a smaller bulk sample to prove up their data base prior to commercial start-up of the Lamaque underground. Recall the company did a 250,000 tonne bulk sample for the Sigma open pit last March - May to prove up the original data base and assess the economic viability of Century's mine plan for the open pit. Now we see the first step in the company's plans for Lamaque progressing as well.

Now this was interesting ...... "This event marks the first of the Company's intended acquisitions of operating and advanced exploration properties in Peru"

I wonder what Peggy has up her sleeve !?!?!

;-)

Onward and upward !!
