Of course, as particulate aerosol pollution gradually falls (because if nothing else we're going to run out of carbon to burn in such wasteful ways) the dimming will dwindle and surface warming will increase further.

That makes sense, too, but they didn't make that point either. I thought the show did a good job on the dimming part but the last ten or fifteen minutes when they shifted gears into global warming had a lot of problems. The production disappointed me.
