I just think our lopsided support of Israel, even when we also say it's retaining illegal settlements in Palestinian territory has caused us a world of grief. The cost in imported oil ALONE has been TRILLIONS of dollars over the years. I'm not saying throw Israel to the wolves - I'm just saying FORCE it to play fair with the Pals, give back ALL illegal settlements and east Jerusalem. It's way past time to change our policy. We did the same thing in China - we backed Chaing Kai Shek. We finally corrected THAT blunder.
