The problem is the religious leaders in countries like Qatar, Iran, Syria and a few others are controlled by maniacal leaders that want to kill ALL Muslims that interact with Western powers. They hate the Jews and the Christians. Mostly, they support jihad against all Israelis which they have identified as military targets. Under this pretext, they support Jihad against all Muslim apostates and Christian Zionists.

No one is making more money from the conflict than the oil exporting countires in OPEC. The price of oil had gone from $30 to $75 since they started their bombing campaign. They blame the refinery bottleneck for the hike in the price of oil. Hundreds of billions of dollars are being redistributed to the ME as a result. I believe that some redistribution of wealth was inevitable. The only question is how far is too far. I'm glad that Congress will balance the greed of the oil companies to make sure they are not gouging consumers that are paying taxes to protect their oil interests.
