POS big oil whore Bush spend a TRILLION dollars in Iraq, gotten nothing accomplished other than a quagmire, destroying the effectiveness of our military and increasing the ranks of Al-Qaida. And 30% of American stupid pinheads still support him to the death. At least we now know the percentage of American Traitors in this country. 30%. I say we start a list, and drop ship them to conservative Iran as a thank you gift. They should feel right at home there. <vbg>

Okay, I can understand being against asleep at the wheel, but what's wrong with summer driving season? I've never heard that a nation gets in deep doo doo or even much of a problem because of summer driving.

<Congress is against asleep at the wheel as are most Americans.

We are in such trouble and it isn't even summer driving and hurricane season.

Maybe you are thinking that fuel supplies will run out or maybe you mean people won't like the price and their dirty great SUV and driving habits will cost them a larger chunk of their money. That's not exactly "such trouble". Buy a bicycle. Get fit. Have fun. Or trade the dirty great SUV in for a motorcycle, or 0.5 litre mini car.

Hurricanes have been around for centuries. People who build in flood zones might get wet. People who build flimsy houses might get blown over. Big deal. They'll have to rebuild.
