Well, you know, there was at least a grand jury investigation of Kennedy. That was not the case with Laura, although it was routine for grand juries to take a look at vehicular deaths at the time. She didn't even warrant a ticket for running a stop sign at high speed and killing the kid. The police investigating the incident never completed their investigation, according to the public records that Texas authorities sought to keep secret for over 20 years. And, of course, Laura has not deigned to explain what happened. M2
