I don't think the anomalies you see outside
of the tropics mean anything--except for
maybe Cod and Tuna fishermen perhaps.

Watch the water temps. Already in the high 70's along Katrina's path in the GOM.. Last August-September it was common to be in the high 80's to as high as 90 in the path it took to the MS coast..
