If Carter had gone in with guns a blazin and killed the shit out of the mad Mullahs and their followers there likely would be no terrorism today or Al Qaeda. A national policy of instantly retaliating with overwhelming force might have nipped this in the bud 30 years ago.

Now I'm not real confident in a good outcome short of just turning the entire ME into a sheet of glass.

Peter, The reason some people don't see it that way, is because they are namby pamby cowards that are intent on just being one member of a world wide government. They care nothing about the sovereignty of nations.

They have watched too much "Star Trek".
