Highly doubt there is a conspiracy. Don't need one if you understand the politics of how business gets done.

You clearly haven't been listening to the white house press conferences. Can't blame you as they are pretty hard to stomach. What the White House says and what you can find on the internet are usually two totally different things. The White House is invariably the wrong information, or has key points missing.

The major networks aren't trying to "hide" what is going on (but the White House is). Selective reporting is definitely occurring and they sugarcoat it to keep their relationships with the White House intact. You don't go around telling everyone about your key customer's stupid mistakes if you want to stay in business.

If I had real "dirt" it would be leaked out anonymously so as to not to get in trouble with the NSA or FBI. Have you noticed there has been a lot of leaking in the white house?

Hu was treated as a second class head of state. Hu wanted dinner reception, and the WS gave only luncheon. What a way to make friends! Even the head of state of a small African country was welcome with dinner at the WH.

Any extra oil that is not used to fill SPR will not doubt be absorbed by China. The current sell off in oil is just temporary. You cannot fix a leak in a dam by plugging with bubble gum.

No wonder that other countries are shaking their heads about the logic of the WH.
