"deeno, you are so jaded....LOL! I like to think of the
government as the representatives of the majority who voted
them into office. Their role is to promote and encourage
the desires of their constituents that voted them into
office, to implement changes as necessary. The government is
US, the majority, and must work to meet the needs of the
greater good as long as it is legal and does not restrict the
needs and rights of the minority. In a free, voting democracy
the minority should never dictate or impose their will on
the majority or else what is the point to having elections?"

As much as im jaded you are idealistic ;-) Lets not delve to much into this as its an energy thread. though we might agree to some degree thats how it should work (though I dont completely agree) we would probably both also agree it doesnt work like this alot.

It is true though, I beleive that less government is more government and that if we let nature continue its cycles natuarlly we would all be better off. I think if there were very little government that alternative energies would already be quite pronounced and this thread would not be stuck in penny stocks and scams for the most part.
