True, it will not be nice. There will be inflation. There will also be a recession. The good thing is that on the other side of that mess we will finally free ourselves of our oil dependence and will have moved on to something more stabil and clean. I guess I'm in the camp that believes we shouldn't just let the energy markets take us for a ride into the unknown. Why not plan accordingly if the evidence for peak oil becomes undeniable. Peak oil will have a dramatic impact on how we live. We should be ready for it.
