Once the tank is cleaned one or two tanks of non ethanol shouldn't hurt. Over the years condensation makes water in the tanks. Gas floats on water. That's why you can get water in your tank when filling from an almost empty tank. Ethanol absorbs the condensation so there's no water build up when it's being used. No gas line freeze up in your car in the winter either.
