Yup, that’s correct, given 100% efficiency of the total process.
Often, many times, efficiencies are not factored into the equations.
Power is lost in the battery charger.
Power is lost in the battery charging process.
Power is lost in the battery discharge process (not counting the power delivered to the load [motor]).
Power is lost through the electric motor controller.
Power is also lost through mundane stuff such as wiring.
Then there’s the efficiency of the electric motor…

Proof to this supposition?
*Heat* developed in the charger, batteries [both during charging and discharging], electric motor controller, all the connecting wires, and the motor.

Heat is energy lost.
