LOL! It sure does, except I fall off the wagon every week and I don't know why. :-) Oh, the leftist BS is there. And no, I didn't see the whole gay thing as one of the leftists memes. That actually seemed to be played out fairly straight (no pun intended <gg>). Here are a few examples to highlight what I've seen recently. And keep in mind, just like the MSM, it all flows in one direction. They never bitch-slap libs with BS memes & pretend it is fact. In one episode Meadow Soprano tells a cockamamie story about an innocent Afghani who escaped the Taliban with his wife & kids (Meadow recounts all of the exculpatory evidence). The Muslim father said his son got yanked out of school by the eeeeevil FBI. They won't even tell the family where he is being held. Muslim father: "The FBI came to the school & took him like a criminal. This is America!?" The Muslim wife claims her daughter couldn't skate at an ice rink with her head scarf. Muslim mother: "It's not easy being Muslim now." "If she had been wearing a yarmulke it would be different, you can bet!" Meadow: "They're this poor Muslim family. I mean it! The government is completely fu¢#ing this family over!" ... "The FBI snatched their son off the street like we're some 3rd world dictatorship!" ... "9/1, 9/11, Bush is using it as an excuse to erode our Constitutional protections & you're falling for it!" Blah, blah, blah - Eeeeeevil Bush Admin willy nilly persecuting obviously innocent Arab looking folks & crushing our civil rights yet again. Another episode; AJ Soprano, out of the blue & totally out of character, strikes up a conversation about hybrid cars, "this is the conversation of the future" - "your don't give two fu¢#s about the environment". Yet later in the same episode AJ, now back in character, is excitedly talking to his dad about 400+ horse power muscle cars. In the same episode, Christopher runs into Federal Agents Harris and Goddard, who encourage Christopher to help them by profiling. Agent Harris: "If you ever heard of anything going down, Middle-Easterners, Pakistanis-you'd be helping a lot if you picked up the phone." A few weeks ago, while Tony was recuperating in the hospital, an old flame of Tony's sister Janice stops by with his prayer leader. As you know that old flame was an over the top, hypocritical (drug abusing) religious kook who had Janice under his "spell" for a time. These guys are protesting at the hospital because a pharmacist was fired for refusing to fill prescriptions for birth control. They are both portrayed as extremist pro life kooks who consider any form of birth control a sin. The prayer leader is an ex-druggie, ex-alcoholic & sex fiend who "saw the light". At one point he gives Tony a book by former Nixon special counsel Charles Colson who they portray as an extremist/criminal who "saw the light" & became "Born Again" - the title of the book. The prayer leader notices Tony has a book on dinosaurs. He tells Tony that dinosaurs didn't exist millions of years ago - they existed six thousand years ago along with man. Why? "It's in the bible". Because as all good Christians know, God created earth a mere six thousand years ago, so there was no earth millions of years ago. That evolution stuff? Well, prayer leader dude says that is all part of a vast conspiracy aided by SATAN. Silly, gullible, misguided folks those former pervert, alcoholic & drug addled criminals who are now kooky, extremist Christians. In another episode Meadow Soprano rails about the eeeevil gov't making Johnny Sack pay for metal detectors, extra security, etc.; all things that were a pre-condition for his temporary release from jail in order to allow Johnny Sack to attend the wedding of his daughter. Of course at the end of the day, the eeeeevil Fed's guarding Johnny Sack had to grossly mistreat him in front of everybody for no good reason whatsoever.
