Exxon is more of a threat to us than Saddam was. Get real, would you? Saddam was a misfit blowhard dictator but he had no 1st class military left and was stuck in a box. What Bush-Cheney saw (before 9-11) was an easy way to seize control of the Iraqi oilfields for Exxon and Halliburton (his masters). So they pretended to be humble guys about foreign policy when running for president, then ASAP wanted to invade Iraq. Why? for the oil. Anything else was just frosting on their cake. Like war profiteering and swiping the 2002 midterms by calling everyone who questioned their lies a "traitor".

If you think Bush-cheney really care about the war on terror, you're nuts. They have turned out to be the best friend Al Qaida could ever have had. They would love to have more terror. That would jack up their poll numbers and oil prices both. A double victory for them.
