re: it just occurred to me why terrorists are killing Egyptians.

Not very bright, eh?

re: They made peace with Israel and continue taking money from the US for that great peace plan of Jimmy Carters.

So Jimmy Carter is responsible for all of the killing and terrorists in Egypt today. He should be proud. Right John?

Who is responsible for the recent attacks in Spain and London? Clinton I suppose.

New Element Discovered

A major research institution recently announced the discovery of the heaviest chemical element yet known to science. The new element has been tentatively named "Governmentium".

Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 11 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Governmentium normally has a half-life of 3 - 5 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause some morons to become neutrons thus forming isodopes.

This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to speculate that governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass".

You will know it when you see it.

LOL... You don't have a clue. The Dahab bombing is obviously Israel's tit-for-tat for the Passover suicide-bombing in Tel Aviv... Since the US urged Israel not to retaliate heavy-handedly on the Palestinians themselves, Mossad was tasked with sending the message to Egypt that her peace treaty with Israel entails a few duties --like exerting enough pressure on the Palestinians to keep them on the right, peaceful track... Bottom line: every time a suicide-bomber blows him/herself up in Tel Aviv, Mossad will retaliate with the bombing of a Sinai resort.

Tel Aviv suicide bomb kills nine

A Palestinian suicide bomber has killed nine people along with himself and injured about 50 more in Tel Aviv.

The bombing, which came during the festival of Passover, was the first suicide attack in Israel since January.

The militant group Islamic Jihad said it was behind the restaurant blast, but Israel said it held the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority responsible.

Hamas, which has been keeping a truce with Israel, described the attack as an act of self-defence.

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas condemned the bombing, saying it ran counter to Palestinian interests.

The US said the blast was "a despicable act of terror for which there is no excuse or justification".

UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw deplored the "senseless and totally unjustified terrorist attack".

In a statement, the Russian foreign ministry said it condemned the attack firmly and without reserve.

Parliament sworn in

The bombing came shortly before Israel's new parliament was sworn in.

Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel would "act with all means at [its] disposal" to prevent further attacks.

In other violence, a 19-year-old Palestinian has been killed by Israeli artillery shelling in the northern Gaza Strip.

Local people say the youth was playing football near the town of Beit Lahiya when he was hit by shrapnel.

The Israeli military says it was responding to earlier rocket fire from Palestinian militants.

Later, an Israeli helicopter fired a missile into a metal workshop in Gaza City, causing no casualties, Palestinians sources told the Reuters news agency.

Israeli teen rues Dahab and Tel Aviv bombings

April 25 2006 at 10:26AM

Jerusalem
- One of the tourists caught up in the Dahab bombings in Egypt was an Israeli teenager whose grandmother was killed in a Palestinian suicide bombing in Tel Aviv last week, a report said on Tuesday.

Eighteen-year-old Gedalia Cohen had travelled to Dahab in order to get over the death of his French-Israeli grandmother Marcelle Cohen, one of the nine victims of a bombing carried out by Islamic Jihad a week ago.

One of his friends told the Yediot Aharonot daily that Gedalia was in a state of shock, although no Israelis are believed to have been wounded.

"We're trying to calm Gedalia. He's in complete shock. He hasn't spoken in three hours.

"He's in a real state. We're scared," Yossi Twito told the mass circulation newspaper.

The bombings in Dahab on Monday night marked the third time Sinai peninsula resorts had been attacked in the last 18 months.

The area remains a holiday hotspot for Israelis despite travel warnings, and more than 1 500 are currently believed to be in the Sinai. - Sapa-AFP
