There you go. My guess of $2 for 9kw wasn't bad but probably high. Deeno, Triff is right. $0.21/kwh is quite high. Assuming you live in a decently sunny place, the payback period for PV would be much shorter than for the rest of us.

I think the 9kw option used by CalCars or one of the other PHEV groups can do 50 miles or more, all on electricity (at highway speeds).
