It seems to be common knowledge that in democracies wishing to remain democratic that the military serves at the convenience of the elected civilian leaders. Sometime you end up with real loser leaders like Clinton, and other times you end up with ethical leaders like President Bush 43. The military have a chain of command and mechanisms for dealing with dissent.

A few retired officers forgot the chain of command. It is not difficult to believe that they would. The liberally biased media are trying to lure any dissent into the open. The small fires get to collect their fifteen minutes of fame and then return to the oblivion they had carved out for themselves.
