The article itself was one concrete example, but I don't see it as rising to a general conspiracy that can be blamed on the character of the Democratic party. The Democrat spokespersons condemned their behavior in this situation. I would be looking for a pattern that is pervasive and long standing before agreeing with his characterisation.
