Yes, that's what I meant...both the far left and far right don't believe in the concept "the people rule"....both examples believe the State rules, and screw the people and/or what they want.

Had to look up Ron Paul to check his bio....Interesting...In the pioneer days, the attributes he lists below would have made sure he was elected...That's when men were men, and women were women, and both sexes realized that to survive, they had to rely upon themselves with scant help from the government. The Ron Paul FREEDOM PRINCIPLES Rights belong to individuals, not groups. Property should be owned by people, not government. All voluntary associations should be permissible -- economic and social. The government's monetary role is to maintain the integrity of the monetary unit, not participate in fraud. Government exists to protect liberty, not to redistribute wealth or to grant special privileges. The lives and actions of people are their own responsibility, not the government's.
