TJ, I had a broker from New York phone me a couple of times. Once to recommend ICE and a month or two later to recommend TIE. I declined his offers as I was otherwise occupied, though we had lengthy and interesting discussions.

He was right on both counts. Both have doubled in the few months that he recommended them. Check out their graphs.

I have got QCOM which Hu will put the boot into [I guess]. Which will be annoying for a while. Hmmm, I should act first thing in the morning. But after acting, then what? Decisions, decisions.

TIE and ICE have been much more impressive than boring old gold and they do something useful.

TJ,
Very interesting audio presentation by Vermilion Director of Investor Relations at informedinvestors.com

"Largest oil producer in France" and "drilling a well east of Paris" is not the kind of thing that comes to mind with a trust. The lack of heavy oil and the low payout with the longer life reserves is good. Looks like they have a lot on the ball. Mentioned also was the modest use of equity to raise capital, less in total since 1994 than the amount of payouts since 2002, if I heard him right. And the plans to use the gains (if any) from the speculative ventures to buy more income producing property over time. Sounds very good. Following your example I bought some over a year ago and am very satisfied.
