Yep, Oblivion is extremely video card limited except at low resolutions. FiringSquad put together an excellent review on Oblivion CPU performance using several Athlon 64/FX/X2 processors and a X1900XTX video card. At 800x600 a 2.4GHz X2 4800+ was about as fast as a 2.8GHz FX-57. At 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 there was no difference in performance among any of the CPUs.
