It's a matter of The Enlightened spreading the Word.

I suspect that's how it's viewed.

When Whoopi Goldberg (I think it was) had a short
lived sit com, where she owned some hotel/motel, there
was an entirely gratuitous scene at the end of an
episode where she removed some political poster of Bush
from the lobby and made a disparaging comment.

Personally, I regarded that as a political commercial
since it was during election season.

The show didn't last but a few episodes. Probably too
much creative effort spent on infusing political commentary
rather than amusing the audience.

wish I could let that BS roll off my back. Instead my internal radar picks it up & it infuriates me. I figure I get more than enough of that BS from the MSM & DNC. I don't need it from my entertainment

same here....

i can pick up political propagandizing so acutely that it almost enrages me when i am watching a film to the point i lose any interest or enjoyment and choose to either walk out or remove the dvd

it's just so damn condescending and paternalistic
