He remind me that an proclaimed elderly gentleman PM me and told me that he thought I was too short sighted for using TA. His argument was the long term chart of SP-500 proved that we should invest for the long term. So, I agreed with him.

After we wrote back and forth several times I gradually lost his points until..

He wrote: Your XAU/SPX ratio clearly indicated that gold stocks are over bought and you should switch to the SP-500 stocks.

I wrote: I plan to hold my core gold stocks position for the longer term. And, I don't see the benefits of owning SP500 stocks.

He wrote: Follow your damn TA.
I wrote: Sorry. I thought you want to talk about the long term.

He never wrote back.

Well...he was right for 3 months. My XAU took a ~20% bath but recovered very quickly and made a huge return in my life time within one year. I don't know what happened to his SP-500 stocks. This is my story to share. LOL

I think we are looking at the long term Paul. ha...
