i thought you were asking a question. didn't i answer? i tried best i could.

another example of huge oil deposit was sable island off new foundland and novi scota canada. i think sun oil found the deposit back in early 50's. however no one knew exactly how technically to operate out there in the ocean with ice bergs floating through the area. finally mobil contracted for equipment to be installed to with stand a direct hit by an ice berg, also added heated pilings to break up ice forming around them etc etc etc.

my point is there maybe more areas where the oil industry feels strong about reserves being there however they haven't come up with the technical expertise to get at it. These systems are improving constantly which changes the availability of oil in the world.
like tar sands in canada.
