We never had a cat that went after birds....oh, a couple of them "stalked" them, but never really tried to catch them, that I know of....

Lizards....now they were not off limits....

McGee was such a "boy" cat....He had fluffy grey hair....and when he was cleaned up, was the Lord Fauntleroy of cats...BUT when he was messy, and after his cut and semi torn ear (cat fight one night) he looked like Sir Ruffian....
