I totally agree. IMHO - and I don't often use the word humble about myself and my opinions - here we have a classic Mexican stand-off between the board and Lou Tomasetta, a founder and the dictator CEO for 20 years or so. With the slight twist to it that the board let a few shots off already while that evasive CEO Lou still refuses to stay down in spite of being badly hit. This fight is ruthless with no consideration for corporate value or future.

Assuming that I'm not too far off target - and I've a hunch I ain't - then the question is when this is over - and then later, the real reasons behind this war.

No doubt, some day we'll know. I'm just curious what next destructive move on behalf of the board and their cronies will be if Lou still refuses to stay down as shot - and resign.

There is no doubt in my mind, however, that VTSS as a corporate entity is done and gone. Hey, that's the whole purpose of this piece of action, best way of getting even and on top of Tomasetta.

Motives? When Lou's book has been written and published we'll all know.

Right now, however, watching this performance is better TV than "24".
And I agree with you, at <2 this is a great opportunity indeed. I know a couple of vultures ready to jump in on the warm body of VTSS.

The question then becomes one of Economics now that the Egonomics have been cancelled.

That's a good one, I'll remember that.

My model calls for me to add 55% to my current holding at today's price. I'm holding my breath for now.

Exactly my way of seeing it. I know I should load up more - but I don't. Call it chicken but then again, I have lost good money on AMCC a couple of years ago. AMCC may not quite be VTSS but...anyway.
