I even gave you a pretty good hint and you still didn't figure it out. Don't you even want to throw a dart and guess?

Wow.. so now I have to guess what you're proposing?

Okay.. here's a shot.. Let Iran have the full nuclear fuel cycle if they comply with inspections.

That's all fine and dandy.. But what if, after obtaining that fuel cycle, they opt NOT to continue participating in inspections??

Then we're back at square one, except that THIS TIME, we have no control over them because we've permitted them to have the keys to the M.A.D. house...

And now we've got an arms race and every nation in the region seeking nuclear weapons, while Iran has a shield from behind which they can pursue their aggressive and subversive activities towards other nations in the region..

Remember jttmab.. Ahmadinejad believes the Mahdi (the Shi'a messiah) is alive TODAY and that it's his duty to pave the way for his public return.

I would have little problem with granting a REASONABLE AND RESPONSIBLE government the nuclear cycle under such terms of full inspections.

But Iran does not possess such a government. This is obvious from the rhetoric of its leadership.

And appeasing such a fanatical group of megalo-maniacs will only encourage them to take your "inch" and go for the whole "mile".

Haven't we learned from History jttmab? What if this was Adolf Hitler and he was seeking the nuclear fuel cycle? Do you think we could trust him to only use it for peaceful purposes?

What is the problem with some confidence building on BOTH sides, as proposed by having their uranium enriched, and reprocessed by another nation??

If peaceful use of nuclear power was all they were seeking, one would think this to be a reasonable compromise.

But they are unwilling to accept it.

So try again jttmab... give us another alternative.. One that takes reality, and the psychology of the people we're dealing with, into account.
