This country has lost its magic. It's so top heavy with corruption that it's imploding on itself. This next generation will be unable to compete in the world and won't be able to figure out why so it will become ever more disillusioned and ever more violent. A single oil company executive makes $400million AND gets subsidized for country club membership and travel. It's grotesque. Other oil company heads are making from $17 million to $37 million PER YEAR. The corruption of the Soviets have nothing on the corruption of rightwing Americans. It is ugly and getting uglier. It's obvious why rightwing thugs are corrupt, the much more insidious problem is why most Americans are sanguine? They can get worked up over people on the other side of the world but they roll over like puppy dogs and play dead when confronted with fascism here.
