Republicans SAY they're for small government, and they cut taxes, but they keep right on spending, and spending and spending. Then, instead of paying for actual services from the government, a lot of our taxes just go to service the huge debts they run up. I believe most Republicans are fantasists. They are happy to get the tax cuts, and just refuse to consider the debt. A "tax and spend" Dem, is FAR superior to a "borrow and spend" Republican. In Bush's case, the NEXT President will pay the price, for the debt, Iraq, and our loss of stature in the world.
