All three must be linked and dealt with together. You cant solve nuke problem and leave iran as the interational terror state meddling especially in those two places. OTOH, you cant really solve the other issues if this regime obtains nukes.

What I fear is that the Iranian clerics know the jig is up and they are willing to play some serious brinksmanship as they double up their bets. Failure of the West to call their bet, to the point that their bluff is called, will only enhance the political power of these fanatical leaders.

They will shout from their podiums to the Iranian masses that the US backed down and that the West is spineless and unworthy of existence in the face of the advent of the Mahdi and his army.

And while not all Iranian youth will rise to this call, many of them will, if only because they see that they no longer have any hope of being rid of this regime, so the only alternative they will have is to participate in it.

And I don't think I'm being particularly sensationalist here. I really see the potential for a renewed radicalization of Iranian people, if only because all alternatives are being eliminated.
