I've only had one gal and her daughter who cleaned for us who did an outstanding job...never had to worry about anything when they were here...but after 20 years, both decided to quit....so we had others, but we were spoiled by our first two wonderful ladies. So it's ok to do it myself, with his help vacuming sometimes, and then once a year call a superdooper cleaning service. One thing I really love, and so does he, is our gardener and team....they do a super job, and it always looks nice.....We have literally tons of leaves in the fall, and we so much appreciate not having to bag big bags full of leaves...last time we did it there were 15 BIG bags stuffed full...we couldn't lift them....<sorta grinning" But yes, I'm trying to remember gloves more of the time... My nails are really just taking a beating, and since I'm allergic to anything like polish, strengthener etc on them, all I can do is see the manicurist to clean them up, shape, paraffin and buff them....
