After all, it amounts to a mere 16.67 fatalities/year WORLDWIDE. Compare that to the US death toll of 30,000/year --and that's only for firearm victims.... Add to that victims who were knocked to death, stabbed to death, driven over,... I didn't want to get into it but I guess you are not up to snuff on this issue. It seems the crime rate has been going up in Europe just as America's been going down. On several levels crime rates are similar. For example, property crime is either equal to US rates or higher. As for the murder, its getting there.......just give it few more years esp. as Muslims become more angry in France: Why Europe's Crime Rates Have Surpassed Ours aei.org Its important to note that the US's murder rate is highest among blacks.......if they were not included, the US's murder rate would be much closer to Europe's.
